Quant Income Plus
Overview
Nymbus Quant Income Plus fund seeks to generate stable risk-adjusted returns consisting of interest income and capital gains by investing primarily in investment grade corporate debt and debt-like securities, with a focus on capital preservation. The fund is actively managed, using data science, to optimize for current income and mitigate interest rate risk while generating returns regardless of interest rate environments. It is designed to offer the benefits of a core bond approach (capital preservation, liquidity and diversification) but with higher income potential and the opportunity to minimize downside risk to a greater degree.

Gabriel Cefaloni
Chief Investment OfficerMr. Cefaloni became Chief Investment Officer of Groupe Nymbus Capital Inc. in 2013 where he spearheads quantitative research and investment management operations. His career spans more than 10 years of capital markets experience. He served as partner and portfolio manager specialized in quantitative fixed income derivatives for GC Capital Asset Management. Prior to that, Mr. Cefaloni acted as a fixed income associate portfolio manager for ARB Group, a private investment firm. Mr. Cefaloni holds a B.Comm in Investment Finance with honors from Concordia University in Montreal and is recipient of the Chartered Investment Manager designation.

Rodolphe Beaulieu
Portfolio Manager, CreditBlack belt in both Brazilian and Japanese Jiu Jitsu, Mr Beaulieu worked for over ten years as a Portfolio Manager for the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, one of the largest institutional fund managers in North America, and later for ING Canada/Intact. All the while, his passion for sports allowed him to get in contact with various elite athletes to whom he managed to unravel the wonderful, though complex, world of finance. Rodolphe has a wide network of contacts in the field of combat sports and martial arts, and shows a thorough understanding of just how significant challenges are for today's athletes. Rodolphe holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Bishop's University (1999) and obtained his CFA designation in 2006.
